Craft: Knitting

This oversized sweater features a diamond pattern—created by knit stitches against a purl background—and dropped shoulders that are set towards the back. It is worked top-down in one piece using two strands of yarn held together, beginning at the accentuated shoulder line across the upper back. First, the back section is worked down to the armholes; then, the two sides of the front are worked downwards from the shoulder line and joined to form a single front section after the neckline is completed. Once the armholes are reached, the front and back are worked together in the round. The sleeves are also worked top-down in the round, and the neckband is knitted on afterwards.
